Tool helps remove blank pages from a PDF.
Often, when creating PDF documents by the scanning process, blank pages get generated and included in the output document. This can be a major irritant to readers to find a blank page where none was expected. The reader gets confused if a page is missing in his particular document. It is quite tedious later; if you have to find the blank pages at random locations and manually remove them. This tool can identify and delete the page detected in an automatic process. If you would like, it will remove the page but keep it in a file. The tool detects blank pages by counting the black pixels. If the total of such pixels is lower than a particular threshold set by the user, it will detect blank pages effectively.
The tool will present you with a report on the actions taken by it. PDF blank page removal process takes very short time in detection & deletion of pages. A situation where the program can get confused is when the document has holes from spiral binding and the scanned copies have a lot of black pixels that are not content related. The program lets you define margin areas where such pixels will not be counted and the blank detection mechanism will not be confused. The program is very easy to use and has a batch process feature that save users a lot of time. Complete documents need not be processed; you can also define page ranges that need to be processed. This is a good tool.
